Our Homes

Work by Prairie Gold Homes resting on its foundation.

Modular units built in the training program are produced at the Prairie Gold Homes production facility at Cornhusker State Industries in Lincoln. Construction of the homes conforms to the Nebraska Manufactured Housing Act according to codes adopted by the Public Service Commission. In keeping with all regulations and requirements, the homes are also inspected by representatives of the Public Service Commission.

Built with high-quality, name-brand materials, Prairie Gold Homes are low-maintenance and extremely energy-efficient. Standard plans feature two or three bedrooms and offer over 1000 square feet of living space. Take a Virtual Tour.

The homes are built with universal design features like extra-wide doorways and lower positioned light switches. By adding options like a roll-in shower and lever handles they become a cost-effective, low-maintenance housing solution for seniors or people with other accessibility challenges. Prairie Gold Homes are transported to the home site.

When sold, the modular units are transported to the developer’s building site for placement on basements or crawlspaces and final finishing work by local contractors. The homes can be duplexed and customized with additions like extra rooms, a garage or carport. Visit our Gallery.
